Dry Fruits Sandwich:
How are you doing guys? The Christmas and holiday season is nearing and I hope all of you are totally filled with fun and festive mood. Today’s recipe is a very simple and nutrient-rich, toddler approved dish. My hubby used to prefer this to make me have dry fruits. Now, this dry fruits sandwich has become the favourite of my little son. You can tweak the recipe as you wish.
Dry Fruits Sandwich:
Ingredients:
This will make 3 sandwiches
- Bread Slices-6
- Raisins-3/4 tbsp
- Dates-3-5
- Walnut-5
- Cashews-7-9
- Almond-4
- Ghee/Butter-To toast
- Cheese Slices-3
Procedure:
1. Measure the ingredients and keep them ready.
2. Boil the dry fruits in hot water for 5 minutes in few spoons of water.
3. Peel the skin of almonds, cool others.
4. Add them to a mixer and grind to a coarse paste.
5.Apply this paste on a slice of bread.
6. Place a cheese slice on it and another bread slice.
7.Toast on a dosa tawa or use a sandwich maker to make it.

This can be offered to babies above 6 months.
Prefer whole wheat bread for kids.(Without Refined Flour/Maida).
