Serves 3
Ingredients:
- Kudam Puli Extract-1/2 cup
- Water-3/4 cup
- Rasam Powder-1 tbsp
To grind:(Use mortar & pestle)
- Garlic pods-6
- Coriander leaves
- Hing- A pinch
- Turmeric Powder-1/4 Tsp
- Salt-To taste
- Oil-To cook
To temper:
- Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
- Urad Dhal-1/4 Tsp
- Curry Leaves-handful
- Red Chilly-1
Procedure:
1. Measure & keep all the ingredients ready.
2. Add turmeric powder, hing, rasam powder salt to the extract+water and mix well. Set this aside
3. In a pan, add some oil and add the ground paste.
4. Saute and add the liquid we have prepared.
5. Close it and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves and add the tempering.
7. Kudam puli rasam is ready to serve.
P.S:
You can add dhal boiled water or smashed dhal to this.
Serve this with hot rice and a spoon of ghee.
You can offer this to babies above 6 months of age without salt.
