Orange Popsicles Recipe:
This year summer is all set so high right from the beginning and this orange popsicles recipe will be my first summer special recipe for this season. My beloved FB groups members(Click here to join the group) had asked for natural summer coolers and here is the first one for this season. You can find more natural summer cooler recipes here.
The reason behind me repeatedly saying natural is we get tempted/forced to opt-in for artificial cool drinks and carbonated drinks due to the beat. But please don’t do that and spoil your health. Beat the heat as natural as possible. Popsicles have been on my to-do list for a long time. But I was not happy with the plastic mould usage. Hence kept delaying and was hunting for non-plastic moulds. Though I found one, it was too high for my budget. Hence I made them with the plastic mould.

Orange Popsicles Recipe:
Procedure:
1. Peel the skin and separate the orange pegs.
2. Add to a mixer and give a small pulse.
3. Filter the juice. Repeat if needed with some water.
4. Pour into the popsicle mould.
5. Freeze it for 8 hours.
6. After 8 hours, take it out and wash the mould in running cold water.
7. Enjoy the orange popsicles.
P.S:
You can alternatively extract the juice using the juicer or squeezing with hands.
Ensure that the oranges are sweet.
Do not blend the seeds.
Don’t run the mixer at a stretch.
There will be a bitter taste if you over-blend or blend with seeds.
I didn’t need more sweetness, hence skipped adding sweetener.
You can add palm sugar if you wish.
If you don’t have the mould please pour the juice in a glass and insert a popsicle stick. Cover it with aluminium foil and freeze.
This can be offered to babies above six months.
The Orange Popsicles will be soothing for teething babies.
Choose plump and juicy oranges.
They should not be sour.
Consume on the same day.
