Tender Coconut Icecream Recipe:
Tender Coconut Icecream recipe was experimented along with vegan mango ice cream and other popsicles. My son relished them all and he keeps talking about them even now after two months. I just played with the ingredients and the final outcome came out so well. I have tasted a similar one from Naturals, Hyderabad and it was my longtime wish to recreate a closer version at home.
Tender Coconut Icecream Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Milk-1/4 cup
- Tender Coconut-1/4 cup
- Fresh Cream-200 gm
- Palm Sugar-To taste
- Corn Flour-1/4 tbsp
Tender Coconut Icecream Recipe:
Procedure:
1. Measure all the ingredients and keep them ready.
2. Take 1/4 cup chilled boiled milk and mix corn flour and palm sugar, without lumps.
3. Heat this in low flame by stirring continuously.
4. The milk will begin to thicken.
5. Remove from the stove and cool down.
6. Now add cream, milk mixture and tender coconut to a mixer jar and blend together well.
7. Pour in a tray and freeze for 4 to 6 hours.
8. Tender Coconut Icecream is ready for you to relish.
P.S:
Using heavy cream will give you a creamier version.
Hand blenders or electric blenders can be used instead of a mixer jar.
For babies below one year, replace milk with coconut milk and skip corn flour and palm sugar like Vegan Mango Icecream or Strawberry Icecream
Please consult your doctor before introducing any new food to your kids.
Don’t stop stirring while boiling milk. It might form lumps.
