Tawa Paneer Recipe:
The tawa paneer recipe is the topmost hit at home especially with my non-lover of paneer(husband) among all of my paneer recipes. The recipe is super quick and as the name suggests it is made on a flat tawa. I tried on my dosa pan and kadai. But the output was simply amazing.
Tawa Paneer Recipe
Ingredients:
- Paneer-200 gms
- Tomatoes-3(Pureed)
- Onion-1(Chopped finely)
- Capsicum-1 tbsp(Chopped finely)
- Ginger Garlic Paste-1/2 tsp
- Red Chilly Powder-1/4 tsp
- Ajwain-1/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder-1/4 tsp
- Salt-To taste
- Butter-To cook
- Kasturi methi-To garnish
Tawa Paneer Recipe
Procedure:
1. Measure and keep all the ingredients ready.
2. In a flat pan, add butter and fry onions, capsicum and add ginger garlic paste.
3. Add tomato puree to the pan or a separate kadai and add the spice powders.
4. Allow it to boil till the raw smell of tomato vanishes.
5. Now add salt, paneer cubes and Kasturi methi and give them a quick boil.
6. Tawa Paneer is ready . Serve it with roti or pulao or rice.
P.S:
Don’t allow it to boil after the raw smell of the tomatoes are gone.
This can be offered to babies above six months without salt.
