Hola Folks, wishing you a happy Vijayadasami/Dussehra. So I am here after a very long time after tawa paneer recipe with Kesar Badam Poha Recipe. My son had a very bad illness episode and hence couldn’t get connected with blogging. Here is simple 5 minute Aval Paal or Milk Poha Recipe
Aval Paal or Milk Poha Recipe
Ingredients:
- Red Rice Flakes/Aval-1 cup
- Palm sugar-1 tbsp
- Kesar Badam Mix-1 tbsp
- Coconut-2 tbsp
- Milk-1 cup
Aval Paal or Milk Poha Recipe
1. Measure and keep the ingredients ready.
2. In a saucepan boil the milk.
3. Add the rice flakes and slowly keep stirring.
4. As it gets cooked to 90 %, add palm sugar and kesar badam mix.
5. Switch off the gas and add coconut.
6. Gently stir and serve.
P.S:
This can be given for babies above 1 year.
You can just soak thin flakes in hot milk, add jaggery and make another version too.
Since it is made with thick red rice flakes the recipe needs cooking.
You can use think flakes too instead of thick flakes. In that case, you need not boil for a long time.
