Mint Paneer Pulao Recipe
Serves 2-3
Ingredients:
- Basmati Rice-1 cup
- Mint Podi -1 tbsp
- Paneer – 200 gms
- Ghee-2 tbsp
- Onion-1 sliced
- Bay Leaf-1
- Cinnamon-A small piece
- Cardamom-1
- Clove-2
- Salt-To taste
Procedure:
1.Rinse the rice well and soak for 10 minutes in warm water.
2.In a pressure add 1 tbsp ghee and add the whole spices.
3.Add half of the salt and 1.5 cups of water. Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
4.Wait till the pressure is completely released. Spread the rice and fluff the rice with a fork on a wide bowl or plate.
5.In the same pressure cooker saute the onions and on dosa pan shallow fry the panner with 1/2 tbsp ghee.
6. Add the mint podi , sauteed onions , paneer and salt to the rice.
7. Gently mix them.
8.Mint paneer pulao is ready.
