I generally prefer preparing all foods from starter to dessert when guests arrive.This is one such recipe tried for my guests.I was hunting for some easy sweet recipe and my friend shared this in whatsapp. To my surprise it turned out great and the guests were really impressed.You can prefer this when you crave for a sweet and have no time or have to handle a huge number of guests in a short span.
- Custard Powder-3/4 cup
- Sugar-2 & 1/4 cup
- Water-3 cups
- (Custard powder:Sugar:Water-1:3:4)
- Ghee-1 tbsp
- Cashews-To garnish
1.Keep all ingredients ready.
2.Mix custard powder and sugar and add water to this.
3.Blend well without lumps.
4.Now pour this in a kadai/pan.In the meantime grease a tray or a plate with some butter or ghee.
5.Keep stirring in medium flame.
6.The mixture will turn glossy .
7.Now add some ghee and cashews.
8.Keep stirring until the mass gathers and comes out the pan.
9.Now pour into the tray.
10.Cut into pieces and serve.
Roast cashews in ghee in prior.
You can replace sugar with powdered palm sugar too.
This is not recommended for babies below one year.
Always have a word with your pediatrician before offering anything new to your baby.
This stays well in room temperature for a week.
