Ragi Idli:
Ragi Idli/Finger Millet Idly/Nachini ka Idli with our simple idly-dosa batter and sprouted ragi flour is what we are going to have as our today’s recipe.Ragi/nachini/Finger Millet is one our traditional millets and super nutritious with iron and calcium.Ragi is one the common baby foods in India and it can be included for six months. You can give it as porridge,idly, dosa, halwa, cake, cookies,kheer, cook like rice and a lot more.Ragi for babies can be given from six months. Ragi idli can be made with whole ragi grains and urad dhal or just made with ragi flour like today’s recipe.Here are other ragi recipes from my blog.

Ingredients:
- Ragi Flour-1 cup
- Idly-Dosa Batter-2 cups(Before Fermentation)
- Salt-To taste
- Oil-To grease
Procedure:
1.Measure the ingredients and keep them ready.
2. Mix the ragi flour to idly dosa batter before fermenting.
3.Mix well and let it ferment overnight.
4.The next day you would find it risen.
5.Grease the idly plates with oil,scoop the batter and pour.
6.Steam cook for 10 minutes.
7.The hot ,fluffy ,healthy ragi idli is ready to be served with your chutney and sambhar.
P.S
You can also add the flour directly to the fermented idly batter. I added before fermentation because the taste is better.
This stays good for four days if you refrigerate.
